This website, gooicozy.com (the "Site"), is operated by Artex Wear Co., Ltd., 14F.-1, No. 185, Sec. 2, Gongyi Rd., Huizhong Vil., Nantun Dist., Taichung City 408, Taiwan ("Gooi Socks," "we," "us," or "our"). Throughout the Site, "you" means the person visiting the Site or buying from us.

By visiting the Site or placing an order, you agree to these Terms of Service ("Terms"), together with our Return and Refund Policy, Shipping Policy, and Privacy Policy, which are part of these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the Site.

1. Online store terms

You must be at least 18 years old to use the Site and place orders. You may not use our products or the Site for any illegal or unauthorized purpose. The Site is intended for shoppers in the United States. You must not transmit worms, viruses, or any code of a destructive nature.

2. General conditions

We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone for any reason at any time. Except for payment information, which is handled by our payment providers over encrypted connections, your content may be transferred unencrypted. You agree not to copy, sell, or exploit any part of the Site without our written permission.

3. Accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of information

Information on the Site is provided for general information and may not be complete or current. We may update it at any time but have no obligation to do so. Please rely on the product page and checkout page for the details of your order.

4. Modifications to products and prices

Prices and product availability may change without notice. We may modify or discontinue a product at any time. We're not liable to you or anyone else for any change, price change, suspension, or discontinuation.

5. Products

Our socks are extra-wide comfort socks. We try to show product colors and details as accurately as we can, but we can't guarantee that your screen shows them exactly. We may limit the quantity of any product we offer, and we don't guarantee that product descriptions are error-free.

6. Health statement

Gooi socks are everyday comfort socks with a wide, non-binding fit. They are not compression socks and they are not medical devices. We make no health or medical claims about them.

Nothing on this Site or in our emails, including product descriptions, images, and reviews, is medical advice. The same goes for anything an AI assistant says about our products. If you have a medical condition, or you're unsure whether these socks are right for you, please talk with your doctor or another qualified healthcare professional before you use them. If you feel pain or irritation while wearing any sock, stop wearing it and contact a healthcare professional.

7. AI-generated images

Some images on the Site, especially lifestyle images that show people, are created with the help of artificial intelligence. The people shown in these images are not real customers. No AI-generated image is a customer photo, review, or testimonial. Colors and fit may look different on your screen and on your feet.

8. Orders placed through AI shopping agents

Some shoppers use an AI shopping assistant or agent (for example, through Microsoft Copilot, Meta, or another service connected to our store) to browse, compare, or place orders for them. If an order is placed for you through an AI shopping agent:

• It's your order. You are our customer, and you're responsible for the order. By letting an agent place an order for you, you confirm that you've authorized it. These Terms, our Return and Refund Policy, our Shipping Policy, and our Privacy Policy apply to that order exactly as if you had placed it yourself.
• The product page and checkout control. An AI agent may summarize our products, prices, sizing, or delivery times incorrectly. To the extent the law allows, we're not responsible for statements made by an AI agent or its provider that didn't come from us. Please check your order confirmation email. If you authorized an agent and it ordered something you didn't intend (the wrong item, color, or quantity), contact us within 30 days after delivery and we'll handle it as a return of unopened socks under our Return and Refund Policy.
• Your information. We receive the information the agent or platform sends us to complete your order and handle it under our Privacy Policy. The agent provider's own terms and privacy policy apply to your use of the agent.
• Payment. Payment is made with the payment method shown at checkout or through the agent's payment method. We don't receive your full payment credentials.
• We may decline or cancel. We may decline or cancel orders from automated tools that appear unauthorized or fraudulent, exceed reasonable quantity limits, or break these Terms. If we cancel an order you've already paid for, we'll refund you in full.

9. Orders, payment, and billing

We may refuse or cancel an order, including because of a pricing or product error, an out-of-stock item, suspected fraud, or an order that breaks these Terms. If we cancel an order you've already paid for, we'll refund you in full. You agree to provide current, complete, and accurate purchase and account information. Payment methods are those shown at checkout. Sales tax, where required, is calculated at checkout.

10. Shipping, returns, and refunds

Our Shipping Policy and Return and Refund Policy explain how and when we ship, and how refunds and returns work. They're part of these Terms.

11. Optional tools

We may give you access to third-party tools that we don't monitor or control. You use them at your own risk and subject to the terms of their providers.

12. Third-party links and services

Some content or services on the Site come from third parties (for example, Shopify, payment providers, and our reviews app). We're not responsible for third-party materials, websites, or services.

13. Reviews, comments, and feedback

If you send us reviews, comments, suggestions (including through the "What Should We Make Next?" page), or other submissions, you allow us to use, edit, publish, and share them without payment to you. Reviews reflect their authors' opinions, not Gooi's. We may remove content that is unlawful, offensive, threatening, spam, or that breaks these Terms.

Your personal information is handled under our Privacy Policy.

15. Errors, inaccuracies, and omissions

Information on the Site or in an order may occasionally contain typographical errors, inaccuracies, or omissions about pricing, product descriptions, shipping, or availability. We may correct them and update or cancel orders affected by an error, without notice, at any time before you receive your order. If we cancel a paid order, we'll refund you in full.

16. Prohibited uses

You may not use the Site or its content: for any unlawful purpose; to violate laws or regulations; to infringe our rights or others' intellectual property; to harass, abuse, or discriminate against anyone; to submit false or misleading information; to upload or transmit viruses or malicious code; to collect or track others' personal information; to spam, scrape, or crawl the Site in a way that disrupts it or breaks these Terms; or to interfere with the Site's security features. We may terminate your use of the Site for any prohibited use.

17. Intellectual property

The Gooi name, logo, text, images, and other content on the Site are owned by or licensed to Artex Wear Co., Ltd. and are protected by law. You may not use them without our written permission, except as needed to browse the Site and shop with us.

18. Disclaimer of warranties; limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Site and all products are provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, except those that can't be excluded by law. We don't guarantee that the Site will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Gooi Socks and its owners, employees, and service providers aren't liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Site or our products, and our total liability for any claim related to an order is limited to the amount you paid for that order. Some states don't allow certain limits on warranties or damages, so some of the above may not apply to you, and you may have other rights that vary by state. Nothing in these Terms limits your refund rights under our Return and Refund Policy or your rights under applicable consumer protection and warranty laws.

19. Indemnification

To the extent permitted by law, you agree to indemnify and hold harmless Gooi Socks and its owners, employees, and service providers from claims arising from your breach of these Terms or your violation of any law or the rights of a third party.

20. Severability

If any part of these Terms is found unlawful or unenforceable, that part is enforced to the fullest extent allowed, and the rest remains in effect.

21. Termination

These Terms remain in effect until either of us ends them. You may stop using the Site at any time. We may end your access if we believe you've broken these Terms. Sections that by their nature should survive termination will survive.

22. Entire agreement

These Terms and the policies referenced in them are the entire agreement between you and us about the Site and replace any earlier agreements. Our failure to enforce a right isn't a waiver of it.

23. Governing law

These Terms are governed by applicable U.S. federal law and, where federal law doesn't apply, by the law of the state where you live. Nothing in these Terms takes away any rights you have under the consumer protection laws of that state.

24. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. The version posted on this page, with its "Last updated" date, applies to orders placed after that date. Please check back from time to time.
